Short supply chains and business partnerships<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n The BEES coop non-perishable product buying group currently works with some fifteen Belgian producers, for the most part directly, in order to bring their products to co-operators.<\/span><\/p>\n BEES coop intends to develop short supply chains in view of the mutually beneficial relationship that ensues: to ensure a lucrative price for producers while offering fresh and high quality products to co-operators at a reasonable price.<\/p>\n In this context, BEES coop is part of the CHOUD’Brussels project to set up a supply chain of local products in Brussels that is efficient and sensible for both the producer and the retailer.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”1926″ alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_border_circle_2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n Fair and accessible prices<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n BEES co-op is determined to support the local economy by favoring local and \/ or organic producers. Nevertheless, in keeping with the desire to support producers, BEES coop guarantees them a voice and place in the decision-making process of General Assemblies through the option of subscribing to shares and joining the BEES coop community.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1924″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n Labeling as a tool for transparency and awareness<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n BEES coop is optimising a clear and intuitive labeling system in order to be as transparent as possible about the quality and origin of the products on offer for members. This system allows cooperators to make informed purchasing choices.<\/span><\/p>\n The BEES coop labeling system is currently under development.
